About MINDFUL TECHNICS
Greetings! My name is Christopher Cocchiarella, and thanks for visiting this site and blog. As a regular contributor here, I aim to foster creative conversations about technology, with the goal of figuring out how use our tools, machines, and media more mindfully or intelligently in our daily lives. You can read more about me, as well as guest contributors at MINDFUL TECHNICS, below.

About me: Christopher Cocchiarella
For about two decades, I’ve worked as a user experience (UX) content strategist, technical writer, and learning designer. In my profession, I see how technological innovations change many aspects of our lives, often in unexpected ways. So, as a hobby, I created this blog to track my thoughts about our relationship with technology.
My thinking draws not just on my work experience but also upon my educational background. I’ve a master’s degree in scientific and technical communication, with a minor in cognitive science, from the University of Minnesota. I’m also UX certified in interaction design by the Nielsen Norman Group. Read more about my background on my About me page.
